Uses
2-(3,4-Dimethoxyphenyl)acetyl chloride is used as a reactant in the cycloaddition reaction with tetramethoxyethylene in the preparation of novel unsymmetrical squaraines.
Uses
(3,4-Dimethoxyphenyl)acetyl chloride (Homoveratryl chloride) has been used in the preparation of:
- homo veratryl nitrile (HVN)
- isomeric naphthalene sulphonyl compounds, 1- and 2-[{2-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)ethyl}methylamino] sulphonyl naphthalenes
