ble in water and alcohol; insoluble in dilute alka-
lies, mineral acids; soluble in tartaric acid. Non-
combustible.
Uses
Opacifier in enamels for cast iron and glass,
ingredient of acid-resisting sheet steel enamels,
high-temperature oxidizing agent.
