NSC16168 is a specific ERCC1-XPF inhibitor with IC50 value of 0.42 μM. It inhibits DNA repair and enhances the efficacy of CDDP in cancer.in vitro
NSC16168 (0-50 μM) potentiates cisplatin efficacy in cancer cells.
Cell Viability Assay.

| Animal Model: | 2.5×10 6 H460 cells were injected sc in the right flank of each mouse. |

| Result: | The tumor growth was minimally affected by compound and the mice displayed no signs of distress or toxic side effects. The combination treatment with 16168 and cisplatin inhibited H460 tumor growth, which was maintained for the duration of the compound injections. |
