Uses

4,6-Difluoroindoline, also known as 4,6-Difluoro-2,3-dihydro-1H-indole, is an important fluorinated heterocyclic organic synthesis intermediate and pharmaceutical intermediate. It can serve as a starting material for a variety of functionalisation reactions, and is used to synthesise physiologically active amides or tertiary amine compounds, as well as various protein kinase inhibitors, amongst others.

4,6-difluoroindoline is irritant. Contact causes skin irritation and severe eye irritation, and may also cause respiratory tract irritation. Harmful if swallowed.
