Description
Peptide agonist for galanin receptors, showing selectivity for GAL2 (Ki values are 85, 9 and 16 nM at rat GAL1, GAL2 and GAL3 receptors respectively).
Uses
Galanin (2-29) (rat) inhibits rat pancreatic protein and CCK-8-stimulated amylase secretion. Galanin (2-29) (rat) is an GAL2R agonist (Ki: 3.5 nM)[1][2].
