Chemical Properties
White crystals, soluble in organic solvents such as methanol, ethanol, and DMSO, derived from the root of golden cherry.
Synthesis
Take prickly pear powder about 2.5g, precision weighing, placed in 250ml round bottom flask, add methanol 100ml, water bath reflux, filtration, residue washed with 40ml methanol for 4 times, each time 10ml, combined filtrate and concentrated to about 10ml, added to neutral alumina column (100-120 mesh, 10g, inner diameter 10-15mm1), eluted with 90% methanol 100ml, collect the eluent, concentrated to dryness, residue dissolved in methanol and transferred to 10ml measuring flask, and diluted to scale, shaking well, with microporous membrane (100~120 mesh, 10g, inner diameter 10-15mm1) eluted, with a 90% methanol 100ml. The eluate was collected, concentrated to dryness, the residue was dissolved with methanol and transferred to a 10 ml measuring flask, and diluted to the scale, shaken well, and filtered through a microporous membrane (0.45 m), and the filtrate was taken as the renewed filtrate, which was obtained. At the same time, the experimental results of different reflux time extraction were investigated, and the final extraction method was determined as using methanol as solvent, reflux extraction for 1h, and then passing through a neutral alumina column and drying to obtain prickly pear glycosides.
