Brilliant sulfaflavine has been used as fluorescent tracers to study the application rate of foliar fungicides when applied to soybeans for the control of rust.

Properties and Applications
colourful green light yellow. For yellow is soluble in water, soluble in ethanol for yellow. The strong sulfuric acid for yellow, diluted still yellow in color. The dye solution to join sodium hydroxide color becomes shallow. Used for silk, cotton and polyamide, vinegar fiber dyeing, can be in wool and silk fabric printing directly. Also used in leather, paper dyeing and used for the production of fluorescent pigments.
