blue light red. Soluble in water for orange, slightly soluble in ethanol, acetone and Cellosolve, insoluble in other organic solvent. In concentrated sulfuric acid for yellow red, dilution have orange precipitation; In concentrated nitric acid for orange solution; In 10% sodium hydroxide solution for orange. Its aqueous solution to join 10% sulfuric acid color turn yellow. Used for wool and silk dyeing, also can be used for leather dyes and used as a pigment.
