Uses
Uranyl chloride is a greenish yellow poisonous flake that was
prepared by dissolving uranic oxide in hydrochloric acid. It is
soluble in water and alcohol. Uranyl chloride was occasionally
used as a halide for printing-out paper and added to chloride
emulsions to increase contrast.

Poison by
intraperitoneal route. A radoactive material.
When heated to decomposition it emits
toxic fumes of Cl-. See also URANIUM.
