Description

2-(Azido-PEG3-amido)-1,3-bis(NHS Ester) is a branched PEGylation reagent. The azide groups enable PEGylation via Click Chemistry. The NHS ester can be used to label the primary amines (-NH2) of proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules. The PEG spacer allows for enhanced hydrophilic properties.

Uses

2-(Azido-PEG3-amido)-1,3-bis(NHS ester) is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. 2-(Azido-PEG3-amido)-1,3-bis(NHS ester) is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
