Occurrence
An aconitine alkaloid, foresaconitine occurs in the ethanolic extract of Aconiturnforestii. It
crystallizes as colourless needles from EtOH and is dextrorotatory with a specific rotation of
[α]D + 30.5° (CHCI3).
