2-Fluoro-6-methylbenzoyl chloride is a benzoyl chloride compound with substitutable fluorine and methyl groups at positions 2 and 6 of the benzene ring structure. 2-Fluoro-6-methylbenzoyl chloride is used as an intermediate for Avacopan, a drug used to treat patients with severe active antineutrophil cytoplasmic autoantibodies (ANCA)-associated vasculitis.
