在氮气保护下,将溴(9.0 mL,349 mmol)逐滴加入到9,10-苯并菲(3.95 g,17.3 mmol)和铁粉(410 mg,7.34 mmol)的硝基苯(200 mL)溶液中,室温搅拌20分钟,随后升温至210°C反应3小时。反应完成后,将混合物冷却至室温,加入乙醚(Et2O)沉淀产物。通过过滤收集沉淀物,并依次用乙醚、丙酮和氯仿(CHCl3)彻底洗涤,得到白色粉末状产物2,3,6,7,10,11-六溴苯并[9,10]菲(11.5 g,16.4 mmol,产率94.8%)。产物的熔点高于300°C;1H NMR(300 MHz,CDCl3):δ = 8.72(s,6H,Ar-H);IR(KBr):νmax = 1585, 1551, 1454, 1365, 1119, 873, 863 cm-1。
