2-Amino-3-fluorobenzaldehyde is an intermediate used to prepare chiral 5-(diphenylphosphanyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroacridines as new N,P-ligands for asymmetric catalysis. It is also used to synthesize quinolinomorphinan derivatives as highly selective δ opioid receptor ligands.
