Description
BMK methyl glycidate is an analytical reference standard categorized as a precursor in the synthesis of phenylacetone.This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
Uses
Methyl 2-methyl-3-phenyloxirane-2-carboxylate (BMK methyl glycidate) and 2‐methyl-3-phenyloxirane-2- carboxylic acid (BMK glycidic acid) are also substances that are immediate precursors of amphetamines and that are frequently used for the illicit manufacture of amphetamines. Those substances should therefore be included in Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 273/2004 and in the Annex to Regulation (EC) No 111/2005.
