The molecular structure of O-Phenylphenoxyethyl Acrylate contains an aromatic nucleus. Generally speaking, the acrylic ester polymer, or the multipolymer in molecular structure, contains an aromatic nucleus because it has excellent transparency and a high refractive index and is widely used in optical material in industries such as optical resin, optical coating, optical adhesive, optical lens, and glasses manufactures. 2-(2-biphenylyloxy)ethanol and acrylic acid are subjected to an esterification reaction under the protection of nitrogen by adopting cyclohexane as a solvent and adopting an organic acid as a catalyst in the presence of a polymerization inhibitor and a reduction agent. After completing the esterification reaction, alkali washing, water washing drying, and reduced pressure solvent removal are adopted to obtain the O-Phenylphenoxyethyl Acrylate, wherein the amount of the reduction agent is 0.1-2 wt% of the total weight of 2-(2-biphenylyloxy)ethanol and acrylic acid.
