Sephacryl^? is used in gel filtration chromatography, protein chromatography, and resins and separation media. Sephacryl^? has been used to develop a novel high-throughput screening assay for sickle cell disease drug discovery. Sephacryl^? has also been used to purify and characterize ovine pancreatic elastase as well as a lysozyme from human urine.
