11α-hydroxy Testosterone is a metabolite of testosterone, produced by the cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoform CYP3A. It can also be generated from testosterone by a mutant of CYP107A1 and from 11α-hydroxy progesterone by the fungus B. bassiana. The biological activity of this metabolite has not been elucidated.

11α-Hydroxytestosterone is a deriviative of Hydrocortisone (HY-N0583), with the relative binding affinity to progesterone receptor of 9% (comparing to R5020 (HY-119384) 100%). 11α-Hydroxytestosterone inhibits the growth and differentiation of human decidual cells in culture[1].
