Bis(4-(dimethylamino)phenyl)methanone?and N-(naphthalen-2-yl)naphthalen-1-amine?in toluene using phosphorus oxychloride condensate, and its product disulfonated with fuming sulfuric acid and converted to the sodium salt.
Properties and Applications
bright blue. Soluble in water and ethanol to blue. The strong sulfuric acid to red light brown, diluted into blue light green.
