Azido-PEG5-PFP ester is a linker compound containing azide and PFP ester moities. The azide can participate in Click Chemistry reactions with alkynes, DBCO and BCN to form triazole groups. The PFP ester is amine-reactive and is less susceptible toward hydrolysis compared to NHS ester.

Azido-PEG5-PFP ester is a PEG- and Alkyl/ether-based PROTAC linker can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Azido-PEG5-PFP ester is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
