Glucosylrutin is a type of polyphenolic flavonoid that possesses antioxidant properties. It can inhibit reactive oxygen species-mediated chain reactions, which play a role in the development of chronic illnesses such as cardiovascular disease and cancer. Glucosylrutin has also been found to have positive effects on skin cells by inhibiting protein synthesis and the production of reactive oxygen species.
