NY0116 is a neuromedin U receptor 2 (NMUR2) agonist with EC50 values of 27.76 μM for hNMUR1 and 13.61 μM for hNMUR2. NY0116 decreases cAMP while stimulating calcium signaling in stably expressing NMUR2 HEK293 cells[1].
in vivo
NY0116 (3-30 mg/kg; SC; ; for 14 days) decreases bodyweight, visceral adipose tissue, and cholesterol on a high‐fat diet[1].
Animal Model:
Male diet induced obese (DIO) C57BL/6J mice age 18 weeks and 8 age[1]
Dosage:
3, 10, 30 mg/kg
Administration:
Subcutaneous injection; for 14 days
Result:
Significantly decreased bodyweight compared to vehicle, whereas mice were maintained on a high-fat diet.
