Description

Octadecylsilane is an organometallic reagent used in organic synthesis. It forms self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) on titanium It reacts onto a gold surface to form monolayers of long alkyl chains. Octadecylsilane also forms SAMs on titanium, gold and silicon surfaces.
