2,3-Dihydro-5-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-(phenylmethoxy)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one is an intermediate in the synthesis of Apigenin 4''-O-β-D-Glucuronide Sodium Salt (A726513). Apigenin 4''-O-β-D-Glucuronide is a flavone component of the aerial parts of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) and pyrethrum flowers (Chrysanthemum cinerarifolium). It can be utilized for food or feed use and biological study of chemical composition of protein-xanthophyll concentrate dietary supplement made from alfalfa.
