What is Fluoroform?

Fluoroform is used for the initial installation of new refrigeration equipment (ultra-low temperature, cryogenic) and re-adding in the maintenance process.
Application
Fluoroform is a widely used ultra-low temperature refrigerant. Due to the good comprehensive performance of HFC-23, it becomes a very effective and safe CFC-13 (R13, R-13, Freon 13, Freon-13) and R-503 Substitutes, mainly used in environmental test chambers/equipment (thermal shock test machine), freeze dryers/freeze dryers, ultra-low temperature refrigerators or freezers, blood bank refrigerators, biochemical test chambers and other cryogenic equipment (including scientific research refrigeration, medical refrigeration) Etc.), more common in low-temperature grades used in these cascade refrigeration systems. Trifluoromethane(Fluoroform) can also be used as a gas fire extinguishing agent. It is an ideal substitute for Halon 1301. It has the characteristics of cleanliness, low toxicity and good fire extinguishing effect.
Although R23 refrigerant is the most common choice to replace Freon R13 and R-503 in newly installed ultra-low temperature refrigeration equipment, the physical and chemical properties, theoretical cycle performance and compressor oil of R23 and R13, R503 are different, so for the initial installation For the after-sales maintenance of refrigeration equipment with R13 and R503 refrigerants, if you need to add or replace the refrigerant, you can still only add R13 and R503, usually R23 cannot be used to replace R13, R503 (that is, usually no exchange type Replacement).
