Antioxidant RIANOX 1790

Rianlon is a major manufacturer of anti-aging additives and application technologies for polymeric materials. Products include antioxidants (RIANOX®), light stabilizers(RIASORB®), and U-pack® grades which are anti-aging solutions, with enhanced safety, health and environmental profiles. Rianlon materials are widely used in automotive parts, coatings, construction materials, packaging, electronics, rubber, lubricants and other industries.

RIANOX 1790 (Old name: THANOX 1790) is a high molecular weight phenolic antioxidant by Rianlon. It provides high extraction resistance and excellent heat stability. It is compatible with polyethylene, polyamide, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyester, polyurethane, rubber and PVC. It offers improved performance stability, processing stability and maintenance of color properties. RIANOX 1790 is recommended for coatings.

Rianox 1790 is a high performance, sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant f the trisphenol class with a cyanuric acid central moiety. RIANOX 1790 is especially suited for polyurethane, polypropylene, polyester and polyamide fibers where it provides at low dosage. The performance benefit of RIANOX 1790 includes the minimal color contribution, good solubility/migration balance and excellent compatibility with light stabilizer and secondary antioxidants, e.g. RIANOX DLTP/DSTP. In addition, RIANOX 1790 has a high molecular weight, which results in low volatility and good extraction resistance. In molding applications it is particularly recommended for filled systems where extraction resistance is an issue.
