HHM H68 DIPHENYLIs an important organic raw materials, widely used in medicine , pesticide ,dye, liquid crystal materials, etc.

Can be used in the synthesis of plasticizer, preservatives. diphenyl can also be used to make fuel, engineering plastic and high energy fuel. Biphenyl exist in coal tar, crude oil and natural gas.Currently the fabrication methods of diphenyl are divided into: 1. The chemical synthesis process: mainly through the benzene pyrolysis reaction to make diphenyl 2.Extraction method: through separation and purification of coal tar to prepare diphenyl, the mass fraction of diphenyl in coal tar is from 0.20% to 0.20%.

HHM H68 DIPHENYL Application
1. Used to mamufacture heat transfer oil, it can mix with diphenyl oxide under a certain mixing ratio to make diphyl.
2. Is the raw material of engineering plastic polysulfone.
3. Diphenyl is the intermediates of rodenticide rat in rat and bromine spirit, also used as organic carrier for better performance.
4. Used as the standard substance in chromatographic analysis.
5.For other organic synthesis.
HHM H68 DIPHENYL Production method
1. The chemical synthesis process: mainly through the benzene pyrolysis reaction to make diphenyl.
2.Extraction method: through separation and purification of coal tar to prepare diphenyl, the mass fraction of diphenyl in coal tar is from 0.20% to 0.20%.
 
Currently widely used high temperature pyrolysis technology, the coking benzene , hydrogenated benzene or oil benzene through the high-temperature pyrolysis, distillation technology for diphenyl.
 
In order to ensure that the finished diphenyl can guarantee colorless liquid or crystalline solid, the purity no less then 99.9%, total sulfur, total chloride content each is no more than 10 PPM, We hennychem use only hydrogenated benzene to produce diphenyl.
HHM H68 DIPHENYL Storage And Handling
1. Keep container closed when not in use. Store in a tightly closed container. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from incompatible substances.
2. Wash thoroughly after handling. Wash hands before eating. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Use only in a well ventilated area. Minimize dust generation and accumulation. Avoid breathing dust, vapor, mist, or gas. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Keep container tightly closed. Avoid ingestion and inhalation.
HHM H68 DIPHENYL Hazards Identification
InhalationDust is irritating to the respiratory tract. Causes irritation of the mucous membrane and upper respiratory tract. Inhalation may cause headache, numbness of the limbs, flaccid paralysis, nausea, or vomiting.
Skin
Causes severe skin irritation. May be absorbed through the skin.
Eyes
Causes eye irritation.
Ingestion
Causes gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. May cause gastric disturbances and electrolytic imbalance. May cause systemic toxic effects on the heart, liver, and kidneys. May cause central nervous system depression.
Hazards
Emits toxic fumes under fire conditions.

HHM H68 DIPHENYL First Aid Measures
IngestionDo NOT induce vomiting. If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid.
Inhalation
Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid.
Skin
Get medical aid. Immediately flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse.
EyesImmediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid.
HHM H68 DIPHENYL Fire Fighting Measures
 
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. Water runoff can cause environmental damage. Dike and collect water used to fight fire. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion. This material in sufficient quantity and reduced particle size is capable of creating a dust explosion. Extinguishing media: Water spray may cause frothing. In case of fire, use carbon dioxide, dry chemical, or water fog. Solid streams of water may spread fire.
