General product information:

AKD emulsifier is a cationic polymer, which replaces the traditional cationic starch AKD emulsifier. It has many functions such as AKD emulsification, colloid protection, retention aid and synergism. Using cationic polymer AKD emulsifier, the AKD emulsion with high stability and high retention can be prepared by mechanical stirring and homogenization, which can reduce the hydrolysis period during storage and sizing. The storage period is longer than that of traditional AKD emulsion, and it can shorten the sizing and curing time, and can be applied in many kinds of medium and high grade paper.
