Sodium Formate

Characteristic:
Sodium formate is part of white and crystal powdery, which has slight hygroscope ,and slight smell of methanoic acid is easily dissolved in water, slightly dissolved in ethanol; out of dissolved in diethyl; proportion is 1.919.Melting point is 253oC.It has strong toxicity as well as irritation.

Production Features:
Sodium formate is the accessory substance of the penaterythritol production ,mother liquor of penaterythritol conducts activating treating by means of crystal accelerator,which ressults in containing Sodium formate ≥97%

Package:
Each bag of soidum formate shall be 25±0.2kg,and package of lining plastic film knitting bag shall be adopted.

Application:
Sodium fomate is extensively used in the production of methanoic acid, oxalate and sodium hydrosulfite as well as reducer, disinfectant etc
