选择性抗生素Blasticidin | invivogenblasticidin是一种高效的选择性抗生素，作用于真核细胞和原核细胞。稻瘟菌素是一类肽核苷类抗生素链霉菌griseochromogenes，干扰在核糖体的肽键的形成，从而抑制蛋白质的合成分离。
抗稻瘟是赋予了稻瘟抗性基因从Bacillus cereus（BSR），其编码灭瘟素脱氨酶。
稻瘟菌素诱导细胞死亡和细胞快速进行稻瘟抗性基因可以在不到一周的时间了。
通常情况下，哺乳动物细胞对稻瘟μ1-10μg／ml浓度敏感，和细菌的25-100μ克/毫升
