Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human CXCR2 transfected murine BaF3 cells is in a concentration range of 5-50ng/ml.
Physical Appearance
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Formulation
Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered concentrated solution in 20mM PB, pH7.4, 50mM NaCl.
Endotoxin
Less than 1EU/μg of rRtCINC-2β/CXCL3 as determined by LAL method.
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤-20℃. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.

Background
CXCL3 is belonging to the CXC chemokine family, which is also known as CINC-2 in rat, DCIP-1 in murine, and GROγ in humans. The functional receptor for CXCL3 has been identified as CXCR2. Similar to other GRO proteins, CXCL3 is potent neutrophil attractants and activators. This chemokine were originally purified from the conditioned medium of rat granulation tissue. In rat, CINC-2 has two isoforms, known as CXCL3α/CINC-2α and CXCL3β/CINC-2β. CXCL3α differs from CXCL3β as DKSS to PSL (98-101) at carboxy-terminal residues.
