Product description

 

ADP is a phosphorus-based environmentally friendly halogen-free flame retardant, it’s called aluminum diethylphosphinate. This flame retardant is an organic phosphinate, white powder. Moisture-proof, insoluble in water and organic solvents such as acetone, methylene chloride, methyl ethyl ketone and toluene.

Application

Application field

ADP is a flame retardant for thermoplastics and thermo sets. It has high phosphorus content, good thermal stability and high efficiency of flame retardant.

Due to the high temperature stability of ADP, it can be used in high temperature nylon for glass fiber reinforced and non-reinforced. The flame retardant material produced has good physical and electrical properties.

In high temperature nylon, Using amount of 15%(wt) ADP which can achieve UL 94 V-0 (1.6 and 0.8 mm thickness). The amount of flame retardant may vary depending on the polymer, processing conditions, and amount of glass fiber added.

 

Processing technology

Before adding ADP, it is necessary to pre-dry the polymer as usual. If possible, the moisture content of high temperature nylon should be less than 0.1% (by weight), PBT should be less than 0.05% (by weight), PET should be less than 0.005%. There is no need to pre-dry the ADP. However, if the system requires very low moisture content, it is recommended to pre-dry (for example, baking at 120 ° C for 4 h);

The usual mixing and processing methods for powders can be used for ADP, the optimum adding method should be determined on the specific condition. It must be ensured that all components are uniformly dispersed and the temperature of the polymer melt cannot exceed 350 °C.

 

 

Packaging and shipping storage

It is packed in paper-plastic bags, inner bag PE, 20Kg/bag. Stored in a dry place at room temperature, transported as non-dangerous goods.
