PhosTAC7 (OGTAC-3)

PhosTAC7 (OGTAC-3) is a targeted protein degradation (TPD) compound designed to investigate the selective degradation of O-GlcNAc transferase (OGT). As a PROTAC-like degrader, PhosTAC7 is composed of a target-binding ligand and an E3 ligase-recruiting moiety connected by a linker, enabling the formation of a ternary complex that promotes ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of the target protein through the ubiquitin–proteasome system.

PhosTAC7 is a useful research tool for studying OGT function, O-GlcNAcylation, protein homeostasis, and targeted protein degradation. It can be applied in chemical biology and drug-discovery research investigating the consequences of modulating OGT protein levels.
