CDK9 autophagic degrader 1

CDK9 autophagic degrader 1 (Compound 28) is a synthetic autophagosome-tethering compound (ATTEC) designed to promote the degradation of CDK9 through the LC3B-dependent autophagy–lysosome pathway. The molecule combines an LC3B-recruiting moiety, a flexible linker, and a CDK9-targeting ligand, enabling the target protein to be recruited to autophagosomes for subsequent lysosomal degradation.

CDK9 autophagic degrader 1 can also affect the level of Cyclin T1, the associated partner of CDK9. It has been reported to show an over 80% CDK9 inhibition rate at 100 nM, making it a useful research compound for studying ATTEC-mediated protein degradation and CDK9/Cyclin T1 biology.
