Photo-lenalidomide-acid

Photo-lenalidomide-acid (CAS No. 2363154-39-4) is a synthetic photoswitchable cereblon (CRBN) ligand and PHOTAC building block designed for the development of light-controlled targeted protein degraders. The molecule combines a lenalidomide-derived CRBN/E3 ligase ligand with a dimethoxy azobenzene photoswitch and a carboxylic acid functional handle for further conjugation.

The photoswitchable structure enables the design of PHOTACs (pharmacological photochemical targeted protein degraders) in which protein degradation can be regulated by light. The terminal carboxylic acid provides a convenient coupling site for attachment to a linker and a protein-of-interest ligand, allowing construction of bifunctional, photoswitchable degraders.
