Description：人源性抗菌肽LL-37具有很强的抗菌和抗炎活性，广谱抗菌效果号，但由于其分子量比较大，并且在生物体内的细胞选择性低，加之生产成本高，因此限制了LL-37在治疗方面的应用。因此开发出新的LL-37衍生的短α-螺旋抗菌肽，这类序列较短的抗菌肽具有更好的细胞选择性，并且与LL-37相比，其抗炎活性没有明显的损失。LL-37 FK-13就是LL-37衍生的短α-螺旋抗菌肽中的一种，由13个氨基酸组成，具有很高的细胞选择性和抗炎活性。研究表明LL-37 FK-13可以通过渗透细胞膜和破坏膜的完整性来杀死微生物细胞。在一些研究中表明，LL-37 FK-13对three gram-positive bacteria (B. subtilis, S. epidermidis, and S. aureus) and three gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, P. aeruginosa, and S.typhimurium)有着很强的抗菌效果。

Human derived antimicrobial peptide LL-37 has strong antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activities, with broad-spectrum antibacterial effects. However, due to its relatively large molecular weight, low cell selectivity in vivo, and high production cost, the application of LL-37 in therapy is limited. Therefore, new LL-37 derived short alpha helical antimicrobial peptides have been developed, which have better cell selectivity and no significant loss of anti-inflammatory activity compared to LL-37. LL-37 FK-13 is one of the short alpha helical antimicrobial peptides derived from LL-37, consisting of 13 amino acids and possessing high cellular selectivity and anti-inflammatory activity. Research has shown that LL-37 FK-13 can kill microbial cells by penetrating cell membranes and disrupting membrane integrity. In some studies, it has been shown that LL-37 FK-13 has an effect on three gram-positive bacteria (B. subtilis, S. epidermidis, and S. aureus) and three gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, P. aeruginosa, and S.typhimurium) It has a strong antibacterial effect.
