DH Road Reflective Glass Beads – Product Description

Road reflective glass beads are high-performance microspheres made from premium soda-lime or borosilicate glass, specifically engineered to enhance the retroreflectivity of pavement markings. With a spherical shape and smooth surface, they are available in sizes ranging from 50μm to 1,400μm and can meet standards such as AASHTO M247 or EN 1423. These beads work by refracting vehicle headlight beams back toward drivers, greatly improving night visibility and road safety. They are commonly dropped onto freshly applied paint or mixed into thermoplastic materials for long-lasting reflectivity. Before application, surfaces should be clean and dry; during use, the beads should be evenly dispersed to avoid clumping. Proper storage in a cool, dry place ensures consistent performance and extended service life.
