Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) is a versatile, non-ionic linear polymer synthesized via the polymerization of ethylene oxide. Depending on its average molecular weight, its physical state transitions from a colorless, viscous liquid (e.g., PEG-200/400) to a white, waxy semi-solid (e.g., PEG-1000/1500), and ultimately to hard flakes or crystalline powder (e.g., PEG-4000/6000). PEG is highly valued across industries—such as detergents, textiles, plastics, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals—owing to its premium water solubility, hygroscopicity, thermal stability, excellent lubricity, and non-irritating biocompatibility.

• Textiles & Paper Industry: Operates as a textile lubricant, sizing finishing softener, and antistatic carrier; acts as a coating component in premium papermaking to improve gloss and smoothness.

• Miscellaneous: Universally formulated as a water-soluble ointment base, tablet binder, and tablet coating excipient in pharmaceuticals, and as an additive in water-soluble metalworking fluids.

Packing: Liquid grades are supplied in 200 KGS drums; solid flakes/powder are packed in 25 KGS net weight woven bags.

Storage: Hygroscopic polymer. Keep containers tightly sealed and store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated chemical warehouse. Protect from humidity, rain, and direct sunlight. Separate from strong oxidizers.
