Diethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether (commonly known as Butyl Carbitol, BDG, or "Da Fang Bai") is a colorless, transparent, high-boiling, and low-evaporation industrial solvent. Featuring dual ether linkages and a hydroxyl group in its molecular structure, it possesses exceptional amphiphilic properties (both lipophilic and hydrophilic). Operating as a premium heavy-end tail solvent, it extends the open time of coatings, delivering superior performance in preventing surface blushing, pinholes, and enhancing leveling under high-temperature baking or high-humidity conditions.

• High-End Coatings & Inks: Widely used as a high-boiling tail solvent in automotive finishes, coil coatings, and industrial baking enamels to ensure excellent leveling and eliminate surface blushing. It functions as an effective retarder in screen printing and water-based inks to prevent screen clogging.

• Industrial Cleaners: Extensively applied in electronic cleaners for printed circuit boards (PCBs), heavy-duty metal degreasers, and hard surface detergents due to its outstanding grease solvency.

• Miscellaneous: Utilized as a leveling and dispersing agent in textile dyeing, a penetration enhancer in leather processing, and a formulation component in hydraulic brake fluids.
