Tat-NR2BAA is the control peptide of Tat-NR2B9c (HY-P0117), a straight-chain polypeptide composed of 20 amino acids with no activity. The sequence of Tat-NR2BAA is similar to that of Tat-NR2B9c, but it has a double-point mutation in the tSXV motif at the COOH terminus, preventing its binding to PSD-95. Tat-NR2B9c is a cell-penetrating peptide that disrupts the binding of PSD-95/NMDAR.
