名称(3S,4R)-ME-344
描述(3S,4R)-ME-344 is the (3S,4R)-enantiomer of ME-344. As a mitochondrial heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) inhibitor, ME-344 specifically binds to HO-1 and induces its translocation from the rough endoplasmic reticulum to the mitochondria. ME-344 inhibits mitochondrial ATP production, induces the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), and disrupts cellular redox homeostasis and mitochondrial function. It is primarily found in drug-sensitive tumor cells and exhibits significant antitumor activity, making it suitable for research on tumors such as breast cancer.
