Bioactivity

名称Curvulol
描述Curvulol, an antimicrobial agent with a polyketone structure, can be isolated from [紅豆杉 (Taxus baccata)] (Chaetosphaeronema achilleae). It exhibits significant cytotoxicity against L929 and KB-3-1 cells and effectively inhibits the biofilm formation of Staphylococcus aureus, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 64 μg/mL.
体外活性Curvulol (Compound 7) 对于 Rhodoturula glutinis DSM 10134、Schizosaccharomyces pombe DSM 70572、Staphylococcus aureus DSM 346 和 Bacillus subtilis DSM 10 显示出抗菌活性，其 MIC 为 33.33 μg/mL。Curvulol 也表现出明显的细胞毒性，对 L929 和 KB-3-1 细胞的 IC 50 分别为 5.5 和 7.5 μg/mL。在 4-256 μg/mL 范围内的 Curvulol 于 256 μg/mL 浓度时会强效抑制 Staphylococcus aureus 生物膜的形成，抑制率达 96.18%，且其 MIC 为 64 μg/mL。
