PDZ1 Domain inhibitor peptide is a novel cyclic peptide with a sequence of 7 amino acids and an amide bond. It can disrupt the interaction between GluK2 (formerly GluR6) and postsynaptic density protein 95 (PSD-95), compete with the C-terminus of GluK2 to bind to the PDZ1 domain of PSD-95, and inhibit the aggregation of kainic acid receptors.
