Bioactivity

名称α-Humulene
描述α-Humulene (Alpha-caryophyllene) is extracted from S.officinalis essential oil.α-Humulene can inhibit tumor cell growth.α-Humulene also shows anti-inflammatory effects, probably by interfering with TNFalpha production and COX-2 and iNOS expression.
体外活性S. officinalis精油通过水蒸气蒸馏法得到，并通过柱色谱法进行分馏。通过气相色谱(GC)联用质谱(MS)对精油及其各分馏部分进行了分析。在MCF-7乳腺癌细胞株、HCT-116结肠癌细胞株以及RAW264.7小鼠巨噬细胞株上，采用MTT法评估了其细胞毒性活性。结果表明：含有α-萜品烯的S. officinalis精油子分馏部分F1.1.1对RAW264.7和HCT-116展现出最高活性，IC(50)值分别为41.9和77.3 mu g/ml。而含有反式-石竹烯(Alpha-caryophyllene)的S. officinalis精油子分馏部分F1.2.1在RAW246.7和HCT-116上的活性较低，IC(50)值分别为90.5和145.8 mu g/ml。
