名称Trichodermin
描述Trichodermin is a naturally occurring sesquiterpene antibiotic (antibiotic) and a powerful inhibitor of protein synthesis (protein synthesis). It binds to eukaryotic ribosomes, inhibiting protein translation by interacting with peptidyl transferase. Trichodermin suppresses oral cancer growth by inducing apoptosis (apoptosis)-related mitochondrial dysfunction and HDAC-2-mediated signaling. It exhibits potent antimicrobial activity against filamentous fungi, yeasts, and bacteria.
