Bioactivity

名称Serotonin
描述Serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine) is a monoamine neurotransmitter in the CNS and an endogenous 5-HT receptor agonist. Serotonin regulates the nervous system, digestive system and cardiovascular system.
体外活性方法：小鼠B16黑色素瘤细胞用Serotonin处理2天检测抗黑色素生成活性。 结果：Serotonin轻微活跃或不活跃于抑制介质变暗，IC50> 30 μM。[1]
体内活性方法：为研究Serotonin的疼痛超敏反应，将Serotonin（10 uM；20 μl）皮内注射给小鼠，在15、30、45、60、90、120、180、240分钟对小鼠进行测试。 结果：与接受盐水治疗的对照组相比，Serotonin 会产生强烈的超敏反应 (p<0.001)。[2] 方法：为研究IL-13介导的5-HT信号在结肠炎发病机制中的作用，在雄性IL-13缺陷小鼠诱导DSS结肠炎前3天开始皮下注射Serotonin（100 mg/kg），每天两次，持续8天。 结果：在诱发 DSS 结肠炎后，接受 Serotonin 的 IL-13-/- 小鼠的结肠 5-HT 含量显著增加。[3]
