描述1,2-Diphytanoyl-Sn-Glycero-3-Phosphoethanolamine is a neutral phosphatidylethanolamine lipid composed of a polyisopentenyl alkyl chain and a phosphonate ligand containing two pyridine groups. 1,2-Diphytanoyl-Sn-Glycero-3-Phosphoethanolamine is commonly used in the preparation of liposomes and to enhance the efficiency of gene delivery in vivo and in vitro.
