名称Trevogrumab
描述Trevogrumab (REGN-1033) is a fully human monoclonal antibody specifically designed to target and inhibit the activity of growth differentiation factor 8 (GDF8), which is also known as myostatin and functions as a negative regulator of muscle growth;Trevogrumab is currently under extensive research of sarcopenia, a complex condition characterized by progressive and generalized loss of skeletal muscle mass and function often associated with aging, wasting atrophy, various chronic diseases, and significant alterations in dietary and nutritional intake.
体外活性Trevogrumab （40nM，30分钟）处理人类骨骼成肌细胞，WesternBlot检测目标蛋白的水平变化。 结果：Trevogrumab 有效抑制肌肉生长抑制素诱导的Smad2/3激活，表现出高亲和力和特异性。[1]
体内活性Trevogrumab (0.1-30 mg/kg，皮下注射 ，每周两次，持续 4 周处理小鼠，结果小鼠腓肠肌 （GA） 和胫骨前肌 （TA） 肌肉重量显着增加 （~20%），小鼠肌纤维面积增加 （~15%）。[1]
