描述2',6'-Dihydroxy 4'-methoxydihydrochalcone is an orally active dihydrochalcone with antiplasmodial and anti-inflammatory activity, reducing IL-1β, TNF, and nitrite production in vitro while modulating macrophage inflammatory protein secretion and preventing L-selectin cleavage in neutrophils. Toxicological evaluation showed no significant acute toxicity, reinforcing its applicability for inflammation-related pharmacology and infectious disease studies.
