Bioactivity

名称APGW-amide
描述APGW-amide is a neuropeptide capable of controlling the growth of pseudomale structures and promoting body growth in Haliotis asinina. It inhibits the Achatina neuron type, regulating currents induced by neuroactive compounds in neurons. APGW-amide induces a rapid increase in [Ca2+]i in Fura-2/AM-loaded PC12 cells and is useful for studies of the nervous system.
体外活性APGW-amide (3 μM) 能显著增加由 erythro-l-BHGA 引诱测得的 I out 之前的膜电导 (g) ，其 ED 50 、斜率、Hill 系数和 E max 分别为 76.9 毫秒、0.89274、1.59453 和 5.54 nA。此外，APGW-amide (3 μM) 抑制了 Dopamine 所致 I out ，其 ED 50 、斜率、Hill 系数和 E max 分别为 29.5 毫秒、1.02386、1.9761 和 0.38 nA，同时增加了 Dopamine 引起的 I out 之前测得的 g 值。对于 Serotonin 引起的 I in 快速成分，APGW-amide (3 μM) 显示出抑制作用，其 ED 50 、斜率、Hill 系数和 E max 为 18.5 毫秒、0.8268、1.6557 和 0.72 nA。APGW-amide (30 μM) 还引起了 Fura-2/AM 负载的 PC12 细胞中 [Ca 2+ ] i 的快速升高。
体内活性每隔一周施用APGW-amide (20-200 ng/g) ，持续14周，可促进 Haliotis asinina 的体重增长。而每隔一天施用APGW-amide (0.0000001-0.01 nM) ，持续14天，能够诱导泥螺 Ilyanassa obsoleta 发生假雄性化。
